At Chumbak, building our brand and creating inspired products has always been the focus of everything we do. The only thing that we hold closer to our heart, is creating great designs for you. Every design is created with a lot of heart and passion. Our process begins from understanding what our customers love and everything that inspires them. After that our designers begin a long and tough journey which involves multiple levels of filters through which every Chumbak design passes. Days and days of getting the colors right and then multiple rounds of receiving samples and finding the perfect material that allows the design and the colors to become the hero. Our team spends many sleepless nights before a product is launched just wondering how customers walking into our stores the next day will respond to the product. We nervously ask for feedback from our store staff and the excitement and energy is palpable. From all this effort is born a product that touches your heart and then you decide to pick it up. You send us pictures of you falling in love with Chumbak and flaunting it and trust us when we say this; nothing makes our day more than seeing you enjoying our products. It makes every color changed, every sample rejected, every revisit to the drawing board and every extra cup of coffee, worth it. fake adjective: fake not genuine; imitation or counterfeit. A couple of months ago, we discovered something rather disturbing. In little stores across the country and even on major marketplace websites, a whole bunch of counterfeiters have sprung up. They blatantly copy our designs and treat our logo like their own. Right from stores selling tech accessories on the roadside to shops inside malls to makeshift shops on the road, the proliferation of these suppliers is insane. Their brash behavior is unbelievable but what hurts us the most, is customers choosing these fake products over ours. And that's why we are reaching out to our fans today. We know you know us and our products and we know that the only way to get to the root of this is if you help us. While we attack them legally, you can tell your friends about this, take pictures of fake Chumbak products and post it online with ‪#stopthefakes‬. Don't let these guys win because we all lose and so does great design and the fun that we have together. Imitation is not the best form of flattery. Not for us. Not of this kind.
