| | The very thought of losing our only child steals our sleep away from us. From last 2 years, we have only been in constant worry for Farin. She is four and a half years old and she loves to play, laugh, run, and if her platelets, RBC, and WBC counts fall, she becomes very weak and dull and we have to rush her to the hospital for blood transfusion. It pains to hear her cry, it pains to see her suffer, it pains to not be able to earn enough to get her a permanent cure. My daughter has a very rare type of anaemia, Fanconi Anemia. It's an uncommon disorder which leads to the failure of bone marrow. It prevents the bone marrow from making enough blood cells for the body to function properly and normally. The only cure is bone marrow transplant. I am losing hope for it's impossible for me to arrange for the mammoth amount of money. | |
